INTEC TG is an additive for natural rubbers, nitriles, EPDM, SBR and other commodity grade rubbers.

Composition:

Inorganic polymeric modifier.

Benefits:

  • It modifies the rheology under processing conditions to enhance the flow characteristics of a range of organic Elastomers.
  • It can modify the compound/ equipment interface, to assist in improved flow and can contribute to improved mold release.
  • It can enhance filler dispersion.
  • Enhances flow and widens the compound processing window. Additionally, during the demolding phase, the INTEC TG can improve part release.
  • For molding, this translates into a reduction in underfills, improvement in knit line strength, improvement in mold release, and sometimes reduction in mold fouling.
With extrusion, this translates into the potential for a higher output (FPM), and/or lower power draw at equal rpm. It can also assist in lowering die drag.
With mixing it can lead to a reduction in cycle time and/or improvement in dispersion providing more consistent batch to batch properties

INTEC SB94 is for plastic injection molding and extrusion. Recommended for all “dark color” polymer systems, filled or unfilled.

Composition:
Inorganic polymeric modifier

Features:

  • It modifies the rheology under processing conditions to enhance the flow characteristics of a range of Thermoplastic resins.
  • It is endothermic (a heat sink) and provides for quicker resin fusion and quicker melt cooling.
  • It can modify the compound/equipment interface to reduce friction or drag, and improve mold release characteristics.

Benefits:

  • For molding, the enhanced flow allows for lower barrel temperatures and a resulting reduction in cool down time. The endothermic properties provide quicker resin fusion and pulls heat from the part faster which also provides a quicker cool down time. Both these factors result in shorter cycle times.
  • Enhanced flow has demonstrated the ability to use lower melt resins.
  • Improvement in release characteristics can assist in demolding
  • Enhanced flow and easier demolding can result in lower scrap.
  • In extrusion, the screw rpm can increase, improving output. Also it can lower amperage, resulting in reduced machine power draw, and providing the ability to raise rpm to further increase output.

Option 1 : SCHEDULED PLANT VISIT AND TRIAL
Option 2 : TELEPHONE ASSISTED TRIAL

There has always been a distinct interest in reducing cycle time or improving out-put rate. The question is how? Can it be effective or is it a waste of time and money? Many products on the market make the claim, send the product out and wish you luck but few pass the test. Our INTEC technology philosophy is to let us show you the way, opportunely to show the way, a factory trial is needed. Factory trial by telephone is an option that handled properly is most effective.

[1] FACTORY TRIAL OPTION SCHEDULED PLANT VISIT AND TRIAL

With the prearranged factory trial our representatives can better serve your needs with the first hand knowledge that can only come from being there. The opportunity to work together to resolve processing problems through a well defined D.O.E. can only produce the best of results. In addition, the ability to run multiple resins or processes can better be utilized.

[2] TELEPHONE ASSISTED TRIAL

It would be impossible for us to attend every trial so we have come up with an alternative solution that can fit your needs. To ensure the best possible results, factory trial by telephone is an option that is most effective. The key to success is communication, pre-arrangements, and information exchange. Undoubtedly some time must be spent understanding what the needs are and developing a common intellect so that the best possible results can be achieved. In order to do this, contact us and we will arrange times so a dialog can start which will bring us closer to serving your needs.

ITPS is open to and encourages discussions regarding the possibilities for
TECHNOLOGY LICENSING OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AGREEMENTS.

This opportunity could be of particular interest to Global companies with manufacturing capabilities outside of the US.
